JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor (7-3) junior guard Manny Roach (Medford, NJ/Life Center Academy) led both teams with 35 points as the eighth-ranked USCAA Division I Blue Jays defeated the ninth-ranked USCAA Division I Bryant and Stratton College-Bobcats (3-5), 92-82, in the College's final home game before its Holiday Break.
The Blue Jays took the lead for the remainder of the first half, 5-3, on senior forward Bryce Nwobu's (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) jump shot. The Bobcats got as close as 9-6 on junior guard Khai Pugh's jump shot with 16:52 remaining. Manor took its first double digit lead of the game, 23-13, on senior forward Cheikh Diagne's (Philadelphia, PA/Northeast) three-point basket. Bryant and Stratton-Syracuse got within 32-27 on Pugh's jump shot with 4:00 left. Roach's layup gave the Blue Jays its second double-digit lead of the game, 38-27. Nwobu's layup in the final seconds of the first half gave Manor its largest lead of the first half, 45-30, which was also the halftime score. The Blue Jays finished the first half on a 13-3 run and allowed one field goal in the final four minutes of the first half. Roach led both teams with 16 points.
The Bobcats got within four twice. They began the second half scoring 12 of the first 13 points and got within 46-42 on senior forward Justice Carrington's layup and 48-44 on senior center Jordan Drain's layup. Manor took its first second half double-digit lead, 54-44, on Roach's three-point basket with 11:24 left. Bryant and Stratton-Syracuse scored 10 straight points and tied the game at 54 on Pugh's basket with under nine minutes left. Altogether, the Bobcats outscored the Blue Jays 24-9 in the first 11-plus minutes of the second half. Manor took the lead for good, 57-54, on Roach's three-point basket with 8:28 remaining. The Blue Jays took its second half double-digit lead of the second half, 72-62, on Diagne's layup with 5:26 left. They took three more second half double-digit leads for the remainder of the contest. (78-68, 83-72, and 85-74). Bryant and Stratton-Syracuse got within six, 78-72, on Pugh's layup with 1:51 left. Manor took its largest second-half lead, 89-76, on Diange's free throws with 0:27.1 remaining. Altogether, the Blue Jays 12 of its last 14 points over the final 1:03 of the game on free throws. The Bobcats outscored the Blue Jays in the second half, 52-47. Roach led both teams with 19 second half points. Pugh paced Bryant and Stratton-Syracuse with 18 points. He also scored the team's final 16 points. Carrington contributed 10 points for the Bobcats.
This is the first time Manor defeated a USCAA Division I school at home since they debuted during the 2021-2022 season. This is also the first time the nationally-ranked Blue Jays defeated a nationally-ranked school at home. In another Manor first, they also defeat a Bryant and Stratton program at home.
Statistical Leaders: In addition to Roach, Diagne scored 23 points. Nwobu contributed 12 points and paced both teams with nine rebounds and four steals. Senior guard Tyray Cooper (Baltimore, MD/Woodlawn) scored 12 points and led both teams with nine assists.
Pugh led Bryant and Stratton-Syracuse with 24 points. Drain scored 12 points, paced the Bobcats with nine rebounds, and both teams with three blocked shots. Sophomore guard T.J. Oliver also scored 12 points and led Bryant and Stratton-Syracuse with five assists. Carrington contributed 13 points for the Bobcats.

This is the 10th time overall (fifth at home) since the Blue Jays' 2021-2022 USCAA debut that they have made double-digit three-point baskets in a game. They are 2-1 overall (2-0 at home) this season when they have made 10 or more three-point baskets in a game. The Blue Jays are 7-3 overall (5-0 at home) when they have made double-digit three-point baskets in a game since the 2021-2022 season. The team's USCAA single-game record is 15 versus the Patrick Henry Sentinels on November 11, 2023. Individually, Roach tied his own Manor single-game USCAA record with eight three-point baskets.
